WHEEL THROWING WORKSHOP
For this workshop the student will learn the basic throwing techniques at the potters wheel, like kneading, centering, throwing basic shapes for the creation of simple objects.
Success at the wheel depends on the students practice, repetition is a very important step to achieve and improve our skills.

DURATION:
- 8 sessions / 3hrs. per session.
- 2 times per week.
Schedule (4):
* Monday & Wednesday / 10-1 or 3-6 pm
* Tuesday & Thursday / 10-1 or 3-6 pm
ABOUT:
- The student will learn the importance of keading before starting on the potters wheel.
- We will practice repetition until the basic steps are learned.
- Trimming techniques are also an important part of the workshop to make the final details on the pieces.
- We will have one class with glazes basic information, and we will glaze all the pieces made at the workshop.
INCLUDES:
- Stoneware white clay (5kg).
- Tools for trimming and building to use at the studio.
- Pottery wheel for each student.
- Personal working table and storage space.
- Glaze and firing of pieces.
