CERAMIC WORKSHOP
The ceramic workshop we will learn about the process of small-scale ceramic production processes for everyday household objects.
It is an exploration of the basic handbuilding techniques, with the use of ceramic plaster molds, sténcils and decorations with slips and enamels.
During the sessions we will make plates, containers, bowls and other objects, on which free decorations will be applied with slips and underglazes and glazing at the end.

DURATION:
- 8 sessions / 3hrs. per session.
- 2 times a week.
*Morning Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday 10-1 pm
Tuesday & Thursday 10-1 pm
*Afternoon Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday 3-6 pm
Tuesday & Thursday 3-6 pm
OBJECTIVES:
- Learn the basic techniques of small scale ceramic production.
- Learn how to use engobes and underglazes to decorate.
- Basic introduction to glaze application.
INCLUDES:
- 7 Kg of clay to work during the workshop.
- All the necessary tools, molds and banding wheel to use during the workshop.
- Firings of all the pieces
- Asistance by instructor from the concept or idea to the end of every builded object.
